Social Enterprise

So what makes Red Cockatoo a Social Enterprise?

People + Art = Social Change

We invest much of our time in non income earning activities such as training young Aboriginal people in the Arts, mentoring and providing business services to all the Aboriginal artists we work with so its not simply about Eco Giftcards, although we love our environmentally friendly cards ! The process around creating products, the possibiities for social and personal change are so rewarding.

This definition from the School for Social Entrepreneurs in Sydney:

“A social entrepreneur is someone who works in an entrepreneurial manner, but for public or social benefit, rather than to make money. ”
